The Call

Ladies and gentlemen, we are at war with an enemy that is seeking to take our liberty and attack our very way of life.  As patriots we have been encouraged to stand up, resist, and fight back against these forces.  It is vital that we realize we are in a spiritual battle and our primary weapon is and must always be fervent prayer.  I also believe that prayer must be followed by action.  Ronald Reagan said,  “We are a nation that has a government – not the other way around.  And this makes us special among the nations of the earth.  Our government has no power except that granted it by the people.  IT IS TIME TO CHECK AND REVERSE THE GROWTH OF GOVERNMENT WHICH SHOWS SIGNS OF HAVING GROWN BEYOND THE CONSENT OF THE GOVERNED."

We must exert Godly influence and wisdom not only in our local communities, city offices, and school boards, but also by contacting officials at every level.  While evaluating how to accomplish this goal, three problems came to mind.  First, most people don’t know the names of those filling these offices.  Second, people don’t know how to contact them.  Third, people see the task of finding the contact information as too time consuming so that it doesn't get done.

I believe God led me to develop Be the Salt and Light to address these issues by providing aids to gather this information into a template that would universally function in any community and state in the nation.  Be the Salt and Light was developed as one man was seeking to be obedient to God’s call to use him.  My hope is that those accessing this site will feel the same spiritual urging to be that Salt and Light influence to which we are called and continue its distribution throughout the country.  May God richly bless you as we strive to heed His calling.

Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction.  We didn't pass it on to our children in the bloodstream.  The only way they can inherit the freedom we have known is if we fight for it, protect it, defend it, and then hand it to them with the well fought lessons of how they in their lifetime must do the same.  And if you and I don't do this, then you and I may well spend our sunset years telling our children and our children's children what it once was like in America when men were free.
